A scenic picture of the himalayas

Poonam Mountain Lodge first opened some years ago as a small restaurant. Soon afterwards we added rooms. Then as word spread, we built an extension.

This led naturally to the creation of our trekking business. Through the recommendations of our guests, we found ourselves in the guide books, and we thank all those travelers who enjoyed our services and made our success possible.

Today we offer affordable rooms in a cozy environment. We serve delicious, vegetarian food in our small terrace restaurant beside the temple of Lord Vishnu.

We feel a great responsibility to maintain the quality of our services, and believe that any hotel or guest house owner should treat guests as though they were members of the family.
